Badoshe comes from the Persian phrase ‘dosh-ba-dosh’ which literally translates to shoulder to shoulder. Ba dosh means ‘on the shoulder’ or ‘carried upon shoulder’.
Our studio name represents our ideology - working side by side with a deep sense of unity, taking on and sharing the responsibility of our present and our future.
Our logomark represents this ideology. The single dot on the right is symbolic of individuality and the the power of one. The stacked dots on the left, symbolise community, plurality, support and the power of unity.
This is the foundation of Badoshe Studio.
ABOUT US
Its fundamental to know where you are going, but even more so, where you come from. Badoshe Studio is the awareness of a responsibility felt, when an uncomfortable pattern in a society reveals itself. It is an existence one no longer recognises.
Badoshe Studio was established for the sole purpose of connecting the dots that lie scattered in our surroundings. Dots that symbolise our roots, focusing on our rich local culture, through designs, concepts, campaigns, crafts and physical spaces.
While we embrace aspects of modernity, our stance is very anti-AI and very pro ‘made by humans’. Taking approaches that reconnect to humanity, we aim to create a sense of self-identity and give back to the larger community we all are and always have been a part of.

There is a need to lead creative work with a human-centric approach as well as the need to emotionally reconnect with our senses to be aware of what our body sees, hears, feels….’’
